Another Step Closer

Today 6/25 Gerry arrived in Bermuda! He sailed on Maree and finished the trip in 91 hours in the Newport / Bermuda race! I believe this is the fastest trip he has experienced in 15 crossings.

I, on the other hand have been hard at work 😊

Today, is my official last day of work with Aldin Associates and Savin Brands as Director of Human Resources. It is bittersweet. I started with this company originally in June 2008. After 10 years, I left and worked in HR for two other companies. In 2014, I was asked to return to Aldin and did so happily. It is a great company to work for and I have always appreciated the opportunity I have had to grow professionally. I will miss not only the people but also the challenging and rewarding work I did.

I completed the Prop Speed project www.propspeed.com on the rudder and propellers, and we hope the boat will be back in the water by the weekend. We have big plans with friends, and I can’t wait to start our Adventures!
